Hi,

I've purchased this course, but after 30 seconds from Module 4 onwards the video stops.
Tried different browsers, my phone and other pcs.

Any ideas? Dead

Thanks,
Anthony Jordan

That's very strange Ant as all the lessons come from the same place! If you could email me on rob@producertech.com, I'll get this sorted for you…

Hi.

I've emailed you in length but just in short for everybody else's troubleshooting...

I think I've whittled it down to a Windows 8 issue, one of the updates or the big 8.1 update I did after a fresh install.
It's not an Internet Explorer or Chrome issue or a 64bit version of Windows issue (as all of these run fine on Windows 7).

I'll do a fresh install without updates and get back to you.

Thanks,
Anthony Jordan

Hi guys,

Just an update and found the issue....
For some reason JW Player 6.2.3115 (your version) does not like Windows 8 or 8.1
I managed to play the video, but when stopped and restarted again, it froze in exactly the same place that I had been talking about.

The solution I found......

This link contains a video with a new JW Player that runs perfect on all machines tested:

It's version 6.8.4616 which is a lot newer.

The other thing I noticed is that the other 3 courses I enrolled into all use Flash Player and play fine.
The Maschine Course is the only one that uses the older JW Player version.

Maschine Complete Guide - Maschine Complete Guide (PT12) - JW Player
Mastering Now - The Complete Guide - Zeitgeist Mastering 1 (ZE01) - Flash Player
The Art of the Remix - FaderPRO (FP02) - Flash Player
Synth Courses - Massive - Synth Courses (PT08) - Flash Player

Hope this helps,
Anthony Jordan

Thanks guys.
I've been impressed with the response from you and input to try and fix it.
Course content is second to none also and very detailed.

To be honest I was sceptical on how content would be for the price and thought I was going to be ripped off.

I thought I'd try and help you out and give a bit of input...
in case the issue re-occurs.
Kind of my way of saying thanks :)

I have been making music for years and started with OctaMED on the Amiga.
I think I just got fed up of being 'ok' at making music even as s non-profit hobby.
Taking it seriously now.

Built a nice 8 core PC, dual 24" screens and lots of proper studio gear, including a set of studio monitors (Yamaha HS8).

I can't wait for Mr. Postman.
