Welcome to the Producertech Forum! The Abletoncourses school is now open and students have begun to enroll. As such, this forum will now be the central communications point for all students, where you can come for help, or to share knowledge and discuss ideas. If you are about to start one of the Ableton Live courses and you haven't received the Getting Started guides pdfs then you can read the Getting Started thread in the Abletoncourses.com support sub forum, in the DAW software forums section below. Getting started is all very straight forward - just download the course pack, open the sessions and start watching the modules - but these instructions make sure that you're totally clued up with each initial stage to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

As the forum grows, students should be able to find any answers they need right here, but we're on hand to answer individual questions should you need it on support@abletoncourses.com

Once again, welcome, and we hope to see you on the forum soon...

Great, I've been waiting for something like this - all the other courses have a signup date and you are tierd to classtimes etc... this i think is a first, looking forward to the course and about to take my first module!

Hey Rob, just started and looking forward to this. I have been using another app for quite a few years,and still will, but there's some great stuff that Ableton offers and I look forward to finding out more.

Hey Kelvin,

Glad to have you on the course. Ableton's definitely the most inspiring music app out there (for me at least) and has a really good community of users who love to share knowledge and tips. I'm looking forward to this site becoming one of the main places people come to learn and share such knowledge.

Hi Rob
Just signed up but its just not playing. I'm having problems opening the sessions. Live comes up with a error message "Apparently, the document was created by a more recent, and incompatible version of live than this". I have Live version 7.0.18 OSX. Was the sessions done on Live 8 ??????
Any help would be appreciated.

Just found the Forum from the Loopmasters Newsletter.
 
I'm looking forward to see how this develops.
 
I recently won a competition with Loopmasters. I got a load of Sample Packs Tongue Big smile & a copy of Ableton Intro.. SO will be v.interested to see what you have in store.
 
I posted a Track Analysis Sheet in the Producer Area for Y'all.
 
Its something that I made up that has really helped me figure out exactly WTF?! is happening with the tracks that I love.
